TARYN SMITHSON

 Hi everyone! Welcome to my website, I am so excited to have you here!

I was raised right outside of Washington, DC, but as of January 2024 I am now a New Yorkah! Growing up I was in the competition circuit dancing all the time and while on a dance trip to New York City I fell in love with Broadway! My love for theater lead me to The Boston Conservatory where I graduated in May 2022 with a BFA in Musical Theatre.  I have had the great honor of just finishing two incredible North American Tours; How The Grinch Stole Christmas as Phyllis/Reno Who and CATS as Rumpleteazer.

 

In addition to performing I have a huge passion for choreography and teaching. I currently work and teach at dance studios, schools, colleges, and competitions around the country.
